Introducing Grassroots2Growth

Formalising your community idea into a thriving organisation.

We believe that lasting social change begins with resourcing the right people in the right way.

Our Approach

At Grassroots2Growth, we support Global Majority leaders and their community-founded organisations to establish, grow, and thrive through heart-centred leadership programmes, organisational resiliency support, and impactful research rooted in their lived experiences and those of their communities.

Too often, Global Majority leaders carry the weight of transforming their communities while being denied equitable access to the tools, funding, and well-being support they need to sustain that work.

We exist to change that.

Our work is rooted in the belief that for humanity to evolve, the leadership of the most marginalised must be recognised, valued and resourced to achieve tangible impact.

By strengthening both organisational foundations and the well-being of leaders, we honour their vision and create pathways for systemic change. In doing so, we contribute to a collective future shaped by justice, liberation, and abundance for all.

How Do We Do This

We support our clients as leaders, within their organisations, and in driving systemic and structural change across the voluntary, charity, social enterprise (VCSE) sector.

Our Organisational Resiliency support focuses on infrastructure development, including strategic planning and sourcing diverse funding streams. Whilst our Leadership Support focuses on alignment, authenticity, and quality representation through peer groups, training workshops, and 1-1 support for leaders.

In addition, we recognise that systemic inequalities exist in the sector harm the majority of our clients, leaders of Global Majority backgrounds. This results in Black- and Global Majority–led organisations facing limited access to core funding, essential resources such as mentorship, effective platforms and networks, and encountering ongoing sector practices that reinforce negative stereotypes and discrimination.

Our VCSE Sector Research tackles systemic inequalities in the sector by creating an ongoing, accessible body of data and tools that enable industry and sector leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue and drive change.

The more we address the roots of inequality, celebrate our lived experiences as expertise, and our passion for supporting leaders, the more members of the Global Majority can create a ripple effect of equity and lasting impact.

Who We Serve

As women of African heritage, we bring an understanding of the lived experiences of leaders from the Global Majority.

We recognise the unique responsibilities these leaders carry, as well as the challenges of navigating a voluntary and non-profit sector that has not always reflected their realities or acknowledged their contributions.

We primarily serve leaders from the Global Majority, who in turn are often working with underrepresented communities that share their lived experiences.
