Our Approach
At Grassroots2Growth, we support Black Diasporic and Global Majority leaders to establish, grow, and thrive through heart-centred marketing, mentorship, and advocacy support rooted in their lived experiences and those of their communities.
Too often, Black Diasporic and Global Majority leaders carry the weight of transforming their communities while being denied equitable access to the tools, funding, and well-being support they need to sustain that work.
We exist to change that.
By strengthening digital storytelling, supporting the wellbeing of leaders, and advocating for change in the Voluntary, Charity, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector, we honour leaders’ lived experiences and visions, creating pathways for systemic change and contributing to a collective future shaped by liberation and abundance for all.

How Do We Do This
We support our clients as leaders, within their organisations, and in driving systemic and structural change across the VCSE sector.
Our Digital Marketing solutions move beyond traditional resilience support. It combines intuitive storytelling and our unique ability to read an organisation ‘from the roots up’ to create high-impact, digital-first collateral that ensures our clients’ missions transform into modern, persuasive narratives that command sustainable investment. Whilst our Mentorship Support focuses on ensuring Black Diasporic and Global Majority leaders feel held, supported, and grounded to continue their work with joy through 1:1, group, and peer support sessions that focus on wellbeing and resilience.
In addition, we recognise that systemic inequalities exist in the sector that harm the majority of our clients, leaders of Black Diasporic and Global Majority backgrounds. This results in their organisations facing limited access to core funding, essential resources such as mentorship, effective platforms and networks, and encountering ongoing sector practices that reinforce negative stereotypes and discrimination.
Our Advocacy Work tackles systemic inequalities in the sector by creating an ongoing, accessible body of data and tools that enable industry and sector leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue and drive change.
The more we address the roots of inequality, celebrate our lived experiences as experts, and our passion for supporting leaders, the more members of the Black Diaspora and Global Majority can create a ripple effect of equity and lasting impact.
Who We Serve
As women of African heritage, we bring an understanding of the lived experiences of leaders from the Black Diaspora and Global Majority.
We recognise the unique responsibilities these leaders carry, as well as the challenges of navigating a voluntary and non-profit sector that has not always reflected their realities or acknowledged their contributions.
We primarily serve leaders from the Black Diaspora and Global Majority backgrounds, who, in turn, often work with underrepresented communities that share their lived experiences.
